Estoy de acuerdo con Sellart\u00a0 de que estos t\u00e9rminos son m\u00e1s \u00fatiles para entender la conducta de nuestros estudiantes y educadores\u00a0 en el ciberespacio que los conceptos de nativo e inmigrante digital. Por ejemplo, no soy un nativo digital pero tampoco el t\u00e9rmino inmigrante digital me describe adecuadamente. Sin embargo, puedo identificarme con el concepto de residente digital:<span style=\"font-size: x-small;\"><em class=\"diigoHighlight a id_0cda021e32ebef1b317308183c8b1f9c type_0 group\"><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\"><em class=\"diigoHighlight a id_0cda021e32ebef1b317308183c8b1f9c type_0 group\">The resident is an individual who lives a percentage of their life online.<\/em> The web supports the projection of their identity and facilitates relationships. These are people who have an persona online which they regularly maintain. This persona is normally primarily in a social networking sites but it is also likely to be in evidence in blogs or comments, via image sharing services etc\u00a0 The Resident will of course interact with all the practical services such as banking, information retrieval and shopping etc but they will also use the web to socialise and to express themselves. They are likely to see the web as a worthwhile place to put forward an opinion. They often use the web in all aspects of the of their lives; professionally, for study and for recreation. In fact the resident considers that a certain portion of their social life is lived out online. The web has become a crucial aspect of how they present themselves and how they remain part of networks of friends or colleagues. <\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Me parece que ya es tiempo de abandonar los t\u00e9rminos dic\u00f3tomos de nativo\/migrante y adoptar\u00a0 tipolog\u00edas que faciliten ver estos proceso como un continuo en el cual ninguno de nosotros est\u00e1 en uno de los extremos.\u00a0 La propuesta de White es una acertada y merece de la atenci\u00f3n de todos aquellos interesados en entender el impacto de la web social en nuestras vidas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gabriela Sellart rese\u00f1a una entrada muy interesante de Dave White en la que nos invita a considerar los t\u00e9rminos residente y visitante para entender mejor como nuestros estudiantes utilizan las herramientas de Internet.
