El artículo condena el uso de anglicismos y termina hablando de fuentes (=fonts). El diccionario de la RAE no incluye este uso para la palabra fuente… la palabra correcta es tipo. “En efecto, los tipos no son “fuentes”, como se ha dado en llamarlos al traducir erróneamente a nuestra lengua el vocablo inglés font”. Recomiendo leer: elca...tml
Como dice el refrán “al mejor cazador se le va la liebre”. Por el contrario la palabra”implementar” se incluye como anglicismo y entiendo que la misma ya no lo es porque se encuentra en el diccionario de la RAE.
Los anglicismos denotan el origen de una palabra, esté aceptada o no por la Academia. El hecho de que un anglicimso esté aceptado por la Academia no quiere decir necesariamente que se deba recomendar su empleo frente a una palabra autóctona. Sinceramente, prefiero decir “implantar” o “aplicar” como sinónimo. Además, la traducción de implement no es implementar:
implement:
I nombre herramienta, implemento, instrumento
II verbo transitivo
1 (proyecto) llevar a cabo
2 (una ley) poner en práctica
Y sobre lo de las fuentes, pues sí, tienes razón
revisaré la redacción de mi propio texto.
Es una de las cosas que denuncio. Que esos malos usos se nos cuelan por los rincones y debemos estar alerta. Y cuando digo que se nos cuelan es que lo hacen, y nos pasa a todos aunque estemos algo alerta. Quizá debamos estarlo más aún. A mí me han colado esa mala traducción (un ‘falso amigo’). Mal hago en difundirla. Lo peor es que esta es de las más extendidas.
Esta misma tarde hago los cambios.
